The study is taken from a pool of 5,072 donors with gifts between $10.00 and $999.99 between April 2020 and April 2021.
Findings:
- Increases in Donor Retention:
- The number of Cultivation Donors who gave at least one additional gift increased 24% after receiving a thank you call.
- The number of New Donors who gave a second gift increased 145% after receiving a thank you call.
- Increases in Number of Gifts:
- Cultivation Donors increased the number of gifts given by 29% after receiving a thank you acknowledgment.
- New Donors increased the number of gifts given by 50.2% after receiving a thank you acknowledgment.
- Increase in Total Gift Amount:
- The total amount of donations increased by over $255K after implementing Nimble Connect’s donor acknowledgment program.
- ROI:
- The client saw a 38:1 ROI against the cost of calling.
