This study is taken from a pool of 3,374 donors between the Fall of 2016 and October of 2018.
Findings
- Increases in Donor Retention:
- The number of Cultivation Donors who gave at least one additional gift increased 30% after receiving a thank you call.
- The number of New Donors who gave a second gift increased 116% after receiving a thank you call.
- Increases in Number of Gifts:
- Cultivation Donors increased the number of gifts given by 37% after receiving a thank you acknowledgment.
- New Donors increased the number of gifts given by 155% after receiving a thank you acknowledgment.
- Increases in Total Gift Amount:
- The total amount of donations received increased by over $306K after implementing Nimble Connect’s donor acknowledgment program.
